Four-Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System With Robust Adaptation Under Complex Road Conditions

Because of the nonlinear feature tire force, anti-lock braking system (ABS) research based on wheel slip control (WSC) is widely used even without measured and road friction. Combined with WSC technology, four-wheel ABS fuzzy sliding mode (FSM) method introduced in this paper. Unlike most single-wheel independent ABS, design has more advantages when under unusual conditions, such as transition split-road conditions between left-side wheels right-side wheels, extreme situation which each are different, it smooth-braking judgment module that designed for wheel-to-wheel control. Besides, function tire-road interaction (TRI) model, condition detection provides characteristics required operation. The model vehicle established Simulink by using parameters a vehicle: BYD F0. effectiveness proposed validated through combined use MATLAB RT-lab via substantial simulations RT-LAB co-simulations.
